If you're unsure re-follow steps 06 - 08 and verify the PID information and use that device from here on out. Yep...I COULD just configure the X52 in the X-Plane button assignments - I've tried it and it works just fine... No mode or profile showing although the functions for my profiles work. Windows will continue to load as normal. The only thing I figured out is that, in Win 8.1, there is no need to install the drivers form Saitek (which are kinda old anywayz) . Windows will probably ask you to restart, do it. I have read a few posts somewhere where folks are using the trim wheel on the throttle as a elevator trim. 3.
I'm kinda dissapointed since they advertised it as "ready to go for FSX out of the box" I'm using Vista 32bit and FSX basic with acceleration pack.
