I also thought about using an optical out switch, where I could switch between optical out sources. Will that only work if you have an HDMI/ARC? Playing DVD's works just fine, great sound. When I turned off the TV, the CEC commands wouldturn off the switch fine, but it wouldn't turn the switch back on when the TV was turned on.
