I have the same problem ever since i installed the 2nd head unit in mine. I am fairly technical (I study computer science), so I would love to learn how to fix electrical problems but I just don't know where to start. Either way, pin #1 does have a dead short to ground, 0 ohms on my multimeter. That does get a few people now and then If you toasted the dimmer control circuit, that could be an issue. The wiring should technically be back to stock now but still blowing...I don't even see how the fuse should be blowing when the car's electrical isn't even turned on! Looks like I'll be tearing the car apart sometime in the future to figure out the issue. Externally, the problem in tracing a short is that from the SPM side lamp relay, there are numerous outputs and the fault could be anywhere.
