I.e. I just received a new 16GB for my new Canon IT2 camera. You probably will need to use standard SD cards only (usually those 2GB or less). j-k,Are you using a portable reader? Your device won't read your sim card because they are different formats; so you need to format your sim card. It's really great demonstration. The camera says memory card locked, memory card error.

Being such delicate electronics, it would help to know what to watch for. Only one suggestion, could you also include a picture of what the slot should look like when in the two (locked & unlocked) positions? I had the "No Memory Card" error after viewing the photos in my laptop. Had to use tape for missing lock switch and it is working well again! I just used the plastic tooth-pick method on my Panasonic ZS10 and it now works fine. weblink They're relatively inexpensive these days, and can easily be found on Amazon if your local store doesn't carry less than 4GB cards.
My Polaroid I835 began saying card protected after it had worked fine for 2 yrs.
