Once reconnected, my mouse was recognized. How to I get to look at driver updates as mentioned in previous posts to see if that is the problem? One was extra features on my Bluetooth radio, and the other was the mouse itself. The bare minimum that we would recommend is making sure that Windows is not having any effect on mouse acceleration and deceleration. If this does not work, then try restarting your computer. My operating system is Windows 7 You'll probably need to update your mouse & Keyboard drivers to Win7 compatible. It will show a list of devices, and half way down is an 'UNKNOWN DEVICE' with the yellow icon next to it.

I had even read that because I was using USB, that I should try using a PS/2 Mouse and Keyboard connection. Esc, Tab, F2, F10, F12 and etc., in rapid succession once you power on the computer until Windows 10 is loaded. The controller most probably locked up.
