Sccm 2012 Add Computer To Collection

Are you using query based or direct membership rule? We can really think of MDT as a pulling deployment solution. I'd rather not have to run the import, get the "Sucess" message, then find the computer that caused the process to stop/fail, remove from the list, then re-run the import over Anything there? I can add a computer system to a collection without having to wait on SCCM to update iteslf, which takes entirely too long IMHO.
